Where the Sky Meets Me
30” x 24” 3-Dimensional Oil
This painting is a postcard from a moment I didn’t want to end. I was standing in the sand in Destin, Florida, watching the sky do something magic pouring every shade of coral, pink, and gold across the water. The clouds looked like they were dancing, just barely holding onto the last light.
There’s something about that hour right before the sun slips away, it wraps everything in calm and color and makes the world feel softer. That’s what I wanted to hold onto here: the hush of the waves, the warmth in the breeze, the sky catching fire in the best possible way.
It is a memory, but also a feeling reminder to slow down, breathe deep, and let the moment sink in.
