Tree Line
16” × 40” Acrylic Linear Gravity
This piece began as an experiment—just me wondering if I could capture a landscape without painting a single tree or leaf. Using only vertical motion and color, I let the paint fall in its own rhythm, layering line after line until something familiar began to emerge: a quiet pond, a dense line of trees, and that unmistakable feeling of fall.
Built one line at a time, this painting reflects nature in transition—still full of green, but just beginning to turn. It carries the hush of a Southern autumn and invites you to pause, breathe, and stand quietly at the edge of something beautiful.
