Laughter in the Garden I and II (Diptych or Individual Works)
These two paintings grew side by side, like unruly plants in the same patch of soil. At first glance, they echo each other — bursts of orange, blue, citron, and black dancing across each canvas — but look closer and you’ll see they’re having entirely different conversations.
The texture is thick and layered, like petals pressing up through the surface, each one carved with the edge of a knife. There’s a sense of movement, of color pushing and pulling — like leaves rustling, laughter carrying, or sunlight shifting across a garden wall. They can live together or stand alone, but either way, they feel alive — vibrant, loose, a little wild.
