Pocket Square

Pocket Square
Pocket Square 40” x 30” 3-Dimensional Oil
One evening, a friend visited the gallery and shared a vivid vision of a painting he had in his mind. His description was so detailed that it lingered in my thoughts, but my interpretation took a more abstract turn. The painting represents a man who’s lived a long, full life—always impeccably dressed, yet now sitting alone. Time has passed, and the man’s hair has grayed, his suit and shoes showing signs of wear, and he appears a bit disheveled.
However, my twist lies in the bright pocket square. It’s a symbol of the man’s meticulous nature, a reminder of a time when everything about him was crisp and colorful. Now, despite the grayness of age and wear, the pocket square stands out—vivid, joyful, and full of life. It’s a small but powerful beacon of happiness, showing that even in the midst of life's wear and tear, there are moments of brightness that never fade.
