Keeping up with Ad Personam

Speaking of a colorful journey, Ad Personam is racking up some frequent flyer miles. After the debut at For the Love of Art and Cars at the ArtCentre of Plano it made its way to Miami and Art Basel. Lamborghini partnered with The Gallery and Rudolf Budja to create a one of a kind exhibition 60 years of Artistry In Motion. It’s next stop was at the Lamborghini Lounge in New York New York. In the coming weeks it will be on its way to Lamborghini HQ in Santa’Agata Italy!

This was one of the most exciting commissions I've been asked  to create has taken almost a year to come to fruition. Ad Personam is a celebration of uniqueness, individuality, color and imagination. A project that started as a conversation on New Year's Eve 2022 elicited many trial runs that became their own small collection. Over 70 tubes of paint, help from talented friends, logo material failures and victories went into the final result, which is a celebration of individuality to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Lamborghini.

Ad Personam is synonymous with Lamborghini. It is their program that allows clients to personalize their car, the car becomes the canvas.  My inspiration came from the dealership’s Ad Personam room which is filled with beautiful samples of paint, fabrics, threads and other materials to customize a car for each client.  The painting is my interpretation of that room, all the textures, angles, folds and of course all the color. To be a part of the 60th Anniversary of Lamborghini is truly a once in a lifetime experience, Lamborghini is not just an automaker; it's a brand that has transcended the automotive industry to become a symbol of art, luxury, and innovation. The company's commitment to pushing the boundaries of design and craftsmanship has solidified its place in the world of art and aesthetics.
